Well maintained and clean property. Courteous staff and good food.

Loved the location and the interior decor. No complaints about the accommodation as it was of a high quality throughout. Able to walk into the countryside in the evening and found some delightful landmarks, like troglodyte caves and the beautiful Chateau Walzin by the river Lesse. It made for a highlight of the trip.

Mr Simonović, who was your guest liked the stay in your cosy hotel. As he was on a short business trip he regrets he couldn't enjoy more due to his busy schedule, but he really liked everything in your hotel. Thank you for the hospitality. Best regards from Belgrade, Serbia

View, location, interior design and breakfast are good

Peace and quiet, Owners very nice if someone after all the sightseeing wants to relax in such a wonderful place, you will not find better, the facilities of the house exceeded all expectations, it is worth going with family friends.

I had a wonderful stay! The decor was charming and thoughtfully designed. The beds were comfortable, and the room temperature was just right for a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was a good, with a great variety of options. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area!

Everything was perfect and amazing! The appartment was exactly the same as in the photos, super clean and the best option for a retreat! It is equipped with everything you need. We had our best weekend ever!

The view of the property is fantastic, the host is friendly too, and allowed us to use the restaurant area to dine (on the day when the restaurant is closed)). Our room was clearly labelled without the view, the size is slightly small for 4 person, however it was enough since we only needed a place to spend through the night. The room looks and feel exactly as advertised. During summer, they have provided also fan in the room, which is really good, in case the attic gets a little stuffy. The property provides breakfast, and generous. You are offered fresh coffee/tea, with choice of eggs to go with the simple breakfast spread. The outdoor space has amazing view! Refer to my photo :) We had last minute booking due to previous accommodation issue however we were quickly welcomed without any hassle for check-in at the property.

Incredible hotel which is a small sized chateau in a rural area of Belgium but also in good distance from attractions nearby. There are many historical locations nearby relating to ww2, Ardenne forest during battle of the Bulge. Hotel is set in beautiful green area right by the river. You can see the river from your room. Rooms are lovely, dark and modern most with terraces opening to green grass area where you can enjoy peace and quiet. There is a 3/5/8/13 km walks you can do nearby. The staff are extremely courteous and welcoming and thinking of all your needs. Needless to say the hotel is completely dog friendly and the dog is allowed everywhere other than the Michelin Star restaurant Ardenne and the spa. Spa has a lovely small indoor pool overlooking the garden and a steam room (good sized) and a lovely Sauna overlooking the river in privacy and calm. Well the highlight of the Chateau is the Michelin Star restaurant and the excellent service we received. The food was mind blowing and had a fusion of classic and adventurous attempts on flavours, from different regions and even countries and schools of culinary styles. One minute you were just about to think the chef made a safe choice in an excellent flavour, only to be pleasantly surprised by something so unusual that works so well. We genuinely felt like we experienced flavours never before and he brought skills from a pastry chef into a complicated fish dish, to bringing precision cooking skills into a relaxedness. Wine sommelier was excellent, he gave us a university degree on wine in a matter of minutes, while explaining the geography, seasons, aromas, colours to science behind it all. We did not know what hit us! Most people think of fine Michelin dining as a pretentious uncomfortable dining, where you leave half full. But this is not one of those! We were absolutely satisfied, taste buds were having a festival and heads were merrily wined.
