We were treated with great warmth and care in the Locanda Marco. Personal yet discrete service, comfy cool room with great pillows, wonderful food and wine recommendations and a very special breakfast room and poached egg! Loved the outdoor seating for the evening meal and feel so grateful for having been made to feel so special and welcomed. We’ll be back and we highly recommend!

This apartment is amazing. It was so big with lots of very thoughtful extras, like coffee and basics in the pantry. Not to mention the exquisite location in the centre of the beautiful old village of Bellinzona that is pedestrians only. It was well worth the parking outside the village and walking in with our bags.

We stayed in the apartment only for a night on the way from Italy to Germany, as the hotel is located five minutes from the motorway, but we really regretted that we did not have a reason to stay there longer. It is very convenient (the kitchen is equipped with everything you could wish for; there is a laundry room; and there are even rooms for coffee and snacks), the apartment and all the common areas are clean, the hotel has a swimming pool, and a large supermarket is nearby. The most convenient thing is that you can check in at any time: you receive all the access codes by mail (a little tip - connect to the local Wi-Fi right at the entrance to the hotel, and then access inside will be like magic).

Hotel Unione is located in the centre of Bellinzona, 10 metres from the historic pedestrian zone and 300 metres from the train station. The garden overlooks Bellinzona’s 3 UNESCO-listed castles.

Fabulous view of the castle and the mountains from our room and balcony, such a comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, lift, breakfast, parking on the street in front of the hotel which was inexpensive, friendly, helpful staff and a decent restaurant. Wonderful combination.

The flat is really nice , clean , in a very good shape - as the building is quite new and modern . The host is supportive , they provide parking for an extra charge of CHF 20,- . There is lot of storage spaces . The location is pretty fine - 10 minutes to city center and 5 minutes to COOP supermarket . All in all , we can repmmend this facility as well for short-term as for long- term stays .

The family room is two standard rooms with a common door. The cleanliness is perfect. Despite the fact that it is a roadside hotel, the atmosphere is very pleasant, both inside and outside the hotel. Free coffee, tea, water, croissants/muffins at the front desk. Room with toys, board games and a pool table. A voucher for breakfast at a nearby cafe can be purchased at reception for 18 francs for an adult and 12 francs for a child. We didn't use it, we had enough croissants and coffee. There is a small supermarket by the cafe.
