The hotel is within easy walking distance from the downtown high-speed train station. Note: Qingdao has several train stations. The seaside location gives it a touch of Chinese holiday flair. We had a nice room with a sea view. The rooms are a bit dated but still okay and clean. To communicate with the staff, you'll need to rely on a translation app. From the hotel, it's easy to explore the old town with its historic German-influenced architecture.
