Ellen and her family are the kindest hosts you could ask for! They were very communicative and helped us get to the accommodation, as well as helping us once we were there. Accommodation was clean and it feels like a very safe place. For anyone traveling from oversees - Ellen asks for a 50% deposit which you need to transfer via a payment service. This is normal for Ecuador and you can trust her :-). Olon and the beach is amazing, great surfing any many cute cafes. Would recommend!

The staff is really friendly, helpful and welcomes you with a smile. Nice common areas and clean kitchen. The location is great, really close to nice coffee places, taxi/bus stops, and the beach. The bed and room was comfortable

Fabulous hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Hot and cold water dispenser at reception area was very useful. We only had a basic room but it was great. Good hot water and pressure. Great bed and linen. Nice AC that didn't hit you whilst in bed. Great breakfast with sand under your feet if you wished with a great view of the sea. Breakfast from a lovely menu cooked to order. Has it's own private beach where you could avoid hawkers. We didn't try the evening meals here but I'm sure they would have been great. This hotel is a short walk along the beach to the main area of town for eating and drinking. Great sunset from here. I would definitely come here again.

A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The location was just stunning, with access directly onto the beach. Although it’s a little bit out from the main town of Montañita, it’s so easy to get in either via a 2 minute taxi or very pleasant walk along the beach. It’s also a short walk to the town of Manglaralto which has anything you might need - nice/affordable local restaurants, grocery shops, markets, etc. Pablo was a great host, and even helped us gain our Open Water Diving Certificate while we were there!!

Set near Montañita Beach and Olon Beach, The Weekend Hostal is in Montañita and offers free private parking and a restaurant. The property has sea and mountain views.

Very friendly hosts, nice pool with warm bubblebath. The whole hostel has a nice vibe. The last day we took surfing lessons with our hosts and it was an amazing expercience, very learner friendly. Would defenitly recommend!
