the views are so good. you can overlook whole city and the river and the hills surrounding the city the location is not far from centre, if you want to walk it can be a good walk to centre at the the same time you can enjoy the quietness at the top of a hill.

The place has everything I needed, it was recommended by my contact in Luxor and it turned out to be perfect. The hosts where helping me to find my way around like restaurants and day trips to various locations and other information. Good service, if you have a question or problem they immediately start helping you. Clean place, good shower! Good view too, close to ferry and restaurants. The place is located on the Elephantine Island with it's easy going Bob Marley style. Good place to relax and absorb the local culture. All the cats are your friend from the start! Yes, I would recommend this place to others: 10/10.

My stay at this accommodation was truly memorable. The place is unique — designed like a spacious boathouse right on the Nile — and it offers a warm, authentic atmosphere that you don’t often find, especially at this budget. The room was beautifully designed, the bedding very comfortable, and the whole space felt welcoming and thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care. The staff were incredibly kind and professional. A special thank-you to Mr. Waleed and Mr. Mahmud, whose hospitality and friendly attitude give this place its special charm. Mustafa made our trip to Aswan. He is a great host and very hospitable, and we felt very loved during our stay. The family is wonderful, his brother Siko is also a great company, and his wife is a wonderful cook that prepared amazing fresh fish and breakfast every day. All our trips were organized with Mustafa on his various boats, and we were able to go places we didn't even imagine. The memories of the days in Elephantine will feed our wistfulness until we are able to return. The rooms were big, clean and super comfortable, very well equiped. The rooftop is the crown jewel, with the amazing views, privacy and good vibes in general, we loved spending some mornings and evenings there. With the help of Mustafa, we got to see wonderful hidden things in Aswan on the great boat rides he would take us; we visited the Nubian Village, walked around and met great people; we tried the amazing nubian coffee and got a sense of a slow paced life on the shores of the Nile. A very big and warm thank you to Mustafa and his family for making this trip to Aswan the highlight of our trip to Egypt. It will definitely stay with us for a long time and we will return to his lovely home as soon as we get a chance.

Wonderful and real experience in a Nubian village. Directly in front of the Nile, this guest house has as major advantage Amgad's hospitality. Anything may be resolved with a honest smile, such a great and hard working person. However, you need to be open minded about it, as you will be sleeping in a very humble and basic island, and so are the facilities. Nevertheless, there so much more to see that these detais, such as a doorless private bathroom, doesn't really mater.

We left Citymax Aswan with the best impressions. Its location is perfect, the view of the Nile is stunning and you will find everything you need (ATMs, food, the local market etc) right next to it. Ms Martina and Mr Mohammed are excellent professionals, and everyone was helpful, assisting us in everything. They made sure we have a good time and helped us navigate in Aswan. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. There's wifi everywhere. Breakfast is rich and has many options (local, vegan etc). Usually, during our journeys we prefer to eat in various places, but we gave a try to Citymax restaurant and the food was great in quality, quantity and price. Definitely recommended!
