Alarpe apertetxea is a peaceful place on a green hill with a beautiful view on the mountains. The staff was extraordinarily kind and available for all needs. The rooms are quiet and clean (just do not forget your anti mosquito spray in summer) and the breakfast was tasteful. I spent a great night over there during a bike solo trip. If other bikepackers are reading, just consider that the final climb can be quite steep 😜

Since we found the location, everything was more than perfect, Marco, the owner, was a kind and friendly person,. The location is surrounded by mountains and there is a creek next to it. The room was very comfortable. Just what we were looking for.

Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of Spanish meats, cheeses, bread and pastries. Fresh orange juice and good quality coffee to start the day. The hotel was clean, centrally located with a mini supermarket 50 metres for water and snacks. We chose Ordizia as it was close to San Sebastián (we recommend taking the park and ride which is free from parking Illunbe in the summer months and weekends the rest of the year) and Vitoria Gasteiz. Pamplona could also be visited but we didn’t have time to go there.

Segura is a wonderful place to stay. Interesting old centre, beatiful surroundings. Very pleasant hotel, spotlessly clean, nicely designed, on the village square. Excellent coffee, extremely friendly and helpful staff. If you aim to stay Friday or Saturday nights and don't want to party till late, take earplugs.

A very beautiful and comfortable house with a beautiful garden. The room had all the amenities, as well as the bathroom. The extra friendly cats and dog were a bonus. The breakfast had a beautiful view and was rich enough. Communication with the owner was easy and check-in was very smooth. A winding and narrow road leads to the house, so it is not recommended to arrive in the dark. Take your dinner with you because it is a rural area and there are no restaurants nearby.
