Breakfast was beautiful and the evening meals were delicious but most of all the staff were so friendly and we had lots of fun with them which made for a most enjoyable stay - we will be back!!

Dog friendly facilities were really good, with a downstairs room not far from reception, easy walks from the door, a doggy paw wash outside and plenty of space in the room for a proper dog bed (provided). Spa and gym very nice. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was very good and beautiful to sit in the restaurant and see the dawn across the lake. Room was quiet enough but not silent. Dogs can sit in the main reception/ bar area which was comfortable and a nice place for a snack and a coffee together with your dog. The old boathouse next door did a good value sunday lunch and they also had dog friendly tables available so that was great.

Lovely hotel, seemed like some beautiful countryside to explore to. Regrettably I didn't have the chance due to the shortness of my stay. Would definitely stay again though.

This property looked and felt like a traditional English Inn - as a Canadian, I really enjoyed this. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, and it was warm, which was important as Britain is freezing. I also really enjoyed the pub and restaurant. Breakfast was included; I ordered a full English breakfast and it was delicious. I also appreciated all the Christmas decorations as it really added a nice touch to the atmosphere.
