We had a wonderful stay in Friars Carse. It is the kind of place you dream of, when travelled to Scotland. Also I need to mention, that the staff was absolutely great and the food we had was outstanding.

Large historic building, very impressive features, but decorated in a modern way. Although it wasn’t a cold November, a wood burning stove was lit in the dining room, giving the room a warm and cosy atmosphere. We had a delicious meal, perfectly cooked. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as soon as we had checked in, he took our luggage to our room without being asked. My husband is disabled but likes to do things himself even if he struggles so this was a huge help. All in all, a lovely overnight stay, I would recommend highly.

Everything was so lovingly put together. Such a plush, comfortable, warm, inviting home. We felt so comfortable and happy the whole time, the apartment added so much character and warmth to our vacation!
