Asarudeen at the restaurant and the pool attendant, who was always very helpful. Mr Asarudeen exceeded all expectations not only mine, as I observed the way he treated all guests. Athena Hotel at Thiruvannamalai exceeded our expectations. IT was quite a high end hotel compared to what you get around in that area. Noise level was non-existent which really helps you sit and meditate or observe the scenery. The staff at the hotel is very accomodative to your requests and goes out of its way to help the guests right from checking in to booking an auto or taxi. Food was amazing. the restaurant prepared fresh food daily and based on crowd offered buffet vs. made to order dinner. Overall, very pleasant stay. Will come again.

A very well maintained hotel surrounded by Woods, very courteous receptionists, chef and every staff member. Close to temples and ramanamaharshi ashram. Very clean swimming pool and support staff, they provide swimwear to purchase if you don't have one. Tasty continental buffet for breakfast and dinner. This will be my go to place in this town
