Friendly helpful lovely staff and a wonderful poolside breakfast was happily set up for our multi generational family. Easy parking (large free car park opposite), very convenient for the funicular (250m) to the old town which was magical at night for dinner. Recommend to make a restaurant reservation in advance especially if you want an outdoor table.

The spa area is modern, with 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), the sauna has a unique view of the forest, jacuzzi and free water and towels. The hotel is located very central, with charming interior design and a very nice veranda where you can enjoy excellent regional Italian cuisine. It is so perfect because you can easily launch cultural-related trips to Florence or Lucca, or just relax at the pool, or go hiking in the surrounding hills, and then after a long day you can treat yourself to a relaxing massage. What gives it that personal touch is the great service by the owners, reception and food service staff. This was definitely not my last visist to this lovely hotel.

Minerva Palace is a lovely little place at the very center of Montecatini Terme. We enjoyed having a private parking, good breakfast and a clean room. We also enjoyed sitting at the lovely rooftop terrace, with a wonderful view. Also, the staff couldn't be nicer (especially Mariano at the restaurant), they really do their best to make one feel welcome. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Montecatini central train station, so that was a big plus, too. Good air conditioning was a plus, too.
