Great room in a lovely house. Breakfast was served in a bakery 50m from the hotel. Great and generous breakfast. The staff was great and helpful. One of the best hotels in this Italy trip. I would stay there again.

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Castegneto. The suite we stayed in was spacious, elegantly furnished and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional. Lovely old building with comfortable room and good size bathroom. Friendly staff create a family atmosphere. Pleasant corners for sitting can be found both inside and out in the garden. Carparking is handy and the location is excellent for visiting the area.

Location is at the train station, the city centre is on a hill. But I chose this with purpose, it fits my style of travelling. Room was good, also bed and pillow. Staff was helpful once I was there. I plan to go back in a few years' time
