Spacious, fully equipped apartment in a beautiful resort, it was even better than what we expected on the basis of the pictures. Communication with the host was excellent, the food in the fridge was a very nice surprise. Highly recommended.

I so wish we had booked to stay for 2 nights instead of 1. This guesthouse is in a restricted area, due to its proximity to the Palestine border. On arrival, go to the Visitor Centre and speak to the Police. They will issue you with a pass that enables you to pass the checkpoint and drive down to the guest house. Due to border patrols, you are not allowed to access the River Jordan at night. There is ample parking and, currently, the whole area is very quiet. (However, the Catholics are building on the adjacent plot, so this might increase the number of tourists.) There were only half a dozen other people staying when we were there, so we almost had the residence to ourselves. Our room has comfortable twin beds and was utterly quiet. We hadn't realised how far the guest house was from the nearest town and how difficult it was to access the site, so we didn't know where to get dinner. The cooks prepared food for the staff and they kindly provided extra, so that we were able to eat. The absolute highlight for me was sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set over Palestine. It really was rather special and I didn't want to go in to bed.

2 departments were outstanding. We are an elderly couple and my wife has some movement difficulties. Rashad and Ra’ad beach attendants were very attentive to my wife’s needs at the mud and beach. They took extremely good care of our well being. The F&B department is extremely important to guests. Led by the very hands on Mr Hussam Abuhana and despite the very busy breakfast and dinner crowds, he and his well trained shorthanded team worked steady and fast. His department was super excellent in both quality tasteful food and attentive service. All performed so well but Siti was particularly outstanding. We must also mention Rafat the housekeeping supervisor and his staff who ensured we have a smoke free room and an adequate amenities supply since we decline cleaning service. We also remember Suliman the buggy driver for his pro-active help.

This 4-star resort in Jordan is situated at the lowest spot on earth. The family oriented resort has outdoor pools with water slides and a terrace overlooking the Dead Sea. The hotel offers free WiFi....

Amazing stay, fantastic service. It was our baby moon, the staff provided us an upgrade, even not requesting it. Amazing surprise that made our stay magical. Food is amazing and very good private access to Dead Sea beach.

The staff is very polite, always ready to help, the beautiful and really very cozy territory of the hotel, there are heated pools and hot Jacuzzis, a beautiful beach with access to the Dead Sea, delicious, fresh and varied breakfast, there is free parking, wi-fi worked well, and even free drinks were offered in the room. The hotel also offers free chocolate and sweets in the Happy Hour, and an evening show. We were comfortable and nothing spoiled our vacation, thanks Movenpick!
