Usually we don’t write text reviews, but it was absolutely an unforgettable experience at Joy Island, which exceeded all of our expectations. Beside high standards of cleanliness and the amazing sunset views from the Lagoon Suite room, we could really feel unique attention to details, friendliness and professionalism of the whole staff. It would be impossible to mention every staff member who contributed to our stay, but we would like to personally and especially appreciate all great efforts from Shahil (our Island Host) and manager Jauzee, our villa attendant Rasheed, always welcoming smiles of Gracia, Gita and Destiny at the restaurant, superb fruit service spiced up with fun of Udaya, delicious pastas of Davide, ice creams and kindness of Remi, and always exceptional service of Reethu at Rainbow Bar. Thanks for making our stay special, we will return for sure!

We loved everything. The staff was amazing, the service was above expectations, the location was very convenient only 15 minutes away by speedboat from Male airport. The island is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the attention to detail and respect towards every guest. An absolutely unforgettable stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness by the entire team. The establishment is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and you immediately feel at ease. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and perfectly equipped, and the overall atmosphere is both warm and soothing. Everything is done to ensure you can relax and enjoy yourself to the fullest. But what really stood out from our stay was the quality of the food and, above all, the chef's talent! A very special mention goes to him, because he doesn't just cook delicious dishes: he goes out of his way to please you. He's attentive, always smiling, and capable of preparing absolutely anything you want. He adapts to your whims of the moment, even at the last minute, and each dish he offers is delicious, generous, and prepared with passion. A huge thank you to the entire team, and especially to the chef, for this stay that will remain etched in our memories.
