The location was spot on for our needs. The accommodation eclectic with the lodge being an ex nunnery. We were quite comfortable, beds good and showers had great pressure. Kym the manager was great booking restaurants for us and ensuring all our needs were met.

The absolutely best motel during my trip in South Island. They have very large rooms and the facilities are well equipped and fantastic lake view.

A lovely peaceful little courtyard，The interior design was very clever and full of New Zealand character. It felt like the host is someone who truly enjoys life and has great taste. I hope I’ll have the chance to stay again.

We felt very welcome and cared for. I wished we'd planned to stay longer. I was thrilled with the loan of a coat for the Milford Sound trip, which made the difference. The proximity to restaurants and shops was great. The restaurant recommendation was perfect. I loved the town and the hotel.

Room was good and well equiped. Place ideally located to nearest store and it's surrounding. Just a 5 min walk you will find any store you like. And about 8 min walk, you will reach the beautiful Lake Te Anau. At night, you will get to watch the stargrazing above and if you are lucky you will found Aurora.

Alpine View Motel was one of the first motels built in Te Anau approximately 50 years ago. It features accommodation with mountain views. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Location- central- just across the road from the lake, great idea of cabin with 2 entrances and bathroom in the middle- we also had lake views from our cabin- it is also just 15 min walk away from town centre or bird sanctuary Car park just near the cabins Also asked if we could keep our campervan parked longer and gave us space for car parking in a different area
