We liked the very likable receptionist the most, who gave us great restaurant recommendations. Also the breakfast lady was very professional and the breakfast was good taking into account that this is a youth hostel.

Everything, we wished we could have stayed longer. I had my first solid night of sleep on the whole holiday on the big comfy bed. The room was huge and simple and beautiful. The pool magnificent. Breakfast wonderful. People wonderful.

The bed inside a kind of box-bunker post doomsday (very original as far as I know) made of wood which create a sound-insulation effect and give you a sensation of total privacy. Also, Ana, the staff woman was very kind.

This is our second visit to Fatima. The Mercure in Fatima did not exist when we visited over ten years ago and we are so pleased that this hotel is now a lodging choice for pilgrims. It is clean, bright, has large rooms and is located adjacent to the pilgrimage site. Diana, the multi-lingual manager, was exceptionally attentive, going out of he way to assist us.

A house to be away from the city, noise and confusion and have contact with fauna and flora in their natural habitat.
