Although I was only spending nights (2) in the hotel and didn’t have time for breakfast I really enjoyed it. The room is spacious and very clean, the cleaning lady does a fantastic work. Hotel staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Small details like every day a fresh carafe of water, a welcome card and snacks are really lovely. There is a free parking lot for the guests in a underground garage and you can get for free (tourist travel card for trains and buses free of charge) to Basel, which takes about 20 minutes. The train station is located only few minutes from the hotel. I can highly recommend this place!

The breakfast is one of the best (there is no comparison, since we travel a lot to France) the food in Switzerland is very fresh and tasty in flavor

Hotel Baslertor is a modern, architecturally unique three star hotel, which is located in the middle of Muttenz, 3 km from Basel city. Service, heel relaxed, gratis ov voucher, relaxed over de minibar etc etc

The family-run Engel Liestal is located in the charming Old Town of Liestal, a 15-minute train ride from the center of Basel and its fairgrounds. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Great location near shops, restaurants, walking distance to the train station. Pleasant hosts.

Ibis Budget Basel-Pratteln is situated next to the Pratteln exit of the A2 motorway, an 8-minute drive from the centre of Basel. It offers air-conditioned rooms as well as free WiFi access. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We were a little skeptical of the location but the underground parking was a huge plus.
