Amazing views of the lake, the rooms were clean and cozy and the hosts were gracious in helping us find recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend this place if in the area. The hosts made dinner each night and it was some of the best food we had on Carretera Austral!

The elevated cabin is set back behind the main building facing an open field. Even though it is located on the main road, you wouldn’t know it. Facilities were wonderful.

Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. Incredible location, nice (and warm) communal areas and fantstic food each night prepared by chef Venecia. Portions are huge so easy to share meals/starters/mains. On the property itself there’s an incredibly rewarding hike with some of the best views we had on our trip (but you need to walk all the way to the end!). Staff are delightful - a special mention for Belén who is the sweetest!

Quite, amazing view from our room, good location (couple of minutes away from the city of Coyhaique with car and good starting point to explore Patagonia&Carretera Austral north and south) + written tips for exploring near by in every room, amazing breakfast and very helpful staff!
