At first, we were a bit hesitant due to a few very harsh negative reviews, despite the majority being positive. That's why we wanted to share our own experience. We stayed in the Sal Room, the most affordable option at the hotel, and for €90, everything was perfect. The view alone was worth the price, not to mention the warm and genuinely welcoming staff, who seemed even happier to host us than we were to be there. Fogo Boutique Hotel is a small oasis on the island. While there are some limitations, it is undoubtedly the best option in the region. We will definitely be back!

Boasting a terrace and views of sea, Cruzeiro Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in São Filipe, a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach. Spacious, clean room with a sea view, you can sleep listening to the waves. The staff was very friendly and helpful, good breakfast served at the roof. Super happy with this accommodation. :)

An absolutely wonderful stay, with great staff, delightful ocean-facing rooms, and a perfect pool with some bonus gray-headed kingfishers. 100% recommend.

COSEC Tours features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Cova Figueira. Maria and Tony are the most amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make my time in Fogo easy and special and I am so grateful! Also, the food at their hotel is DELICIOUS, the internet worked quite well, and the town of Cova Figuera is a very friendly place. I had a great experience and absolutely recommend this hotel as an excellent value!

I lived the old colonial time house, which was transformed into the hotel. Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.
