Grund was a warm and cozy respite from cold and extremely windy weather. The apartment was in a fantastic location in town - a short walk from the one small grocery store, a restaurant, and a waterfall. It was also an easy drive to all the amazing sights in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. The kitchen has all you might need to cook - including an ample supply of spices and oils to use. All in all this was an amazing place to stay for our first two nights in Iceland.

Great hotel in a nice village. The room was very nice and large. We were able to check in early which was helpful. Situated 2 minute walk from a delicious restaurant. The breakfast was great. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. Amazing room with ocean view. The staff was super super kind and they would do anything they could to help you. Very close to thermal baths.

The natural scenery around the hotel is breathtaking. The food from the restaurant is amazing ! You can leave the hotel and walk near the ocean in various beautiful trails . We had a great night sleep ! The famous black church is just a few steps away from the hotel.
