We had thought of staying at a large hotel in Courmayeur with a spa and I believe a Michelin star, but we were all so happy with our choice, knowing that what we received was a unique experience, a treasured, star-studded highlight of our trip to Italy.

Offering quiet street views, Vecchio Mulino Guest House is an accommodation located in Aosta, 48 km from Step Into the Void and 48 km from Aiguille du Midi. I can’t really explain, it was so beautiful, everything was well thought out, there was nothing lacking, just a pity we only stayed the one night and not able to make use of all the facilities. Located in the mountains of Aosta, Relais du Berger offers mountain-style accommodation with ski storage. The property also has a garden and BBQ facilities. The hosts were wonderful, so kind and interested and accommodating. Our family room was immaculate and very well done. The bathroom was spacious, and the room was large and very well arranged with very neat bunk beds recessed into the wall and a large walk-in closet. We loved the room, and the view from the balcony was amazing. Breakfast was fresh and excellent. Underground parking was very helpful. We truly loved every minute of our stay. I highly recommend Relais du Berger.

Nestled on the hills overlooking Aosta, this family-run hotel offers panoramic views, an outdoor pool and a wellness centre. All traditional style rooms include flat-screen satellite TV and free... the hotel is just amazing! everything was perfect! highly recommended for a nice stay in Aosta. We'll definitely be back!
