There is access to the sea — not exactly a traditional beach, but you can swim, and there’s fresh water available to rinse off afterwards. Dinner and breakfast were perfectly decent, but the real highlight is the tranquility, privacy, and connection to nature. The best cottages are those with one double and one single bed — they’re farthest from reception, offering the most space and the most seclusion.

The Grand Hotel Madaba is an elegant hotel in the heart of Madaba, within easy walking distance from the Church of Apostles and 2 minutes' drive to the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land and the ST. The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We travelled with our little daughter and asked for a crib at the last minute. Good coffee and breakfast buffet options. We didn’t get a chance to swim in their pool but loved the patio! Thank you Grand Madaba team for having us. We will definitely be coming back when we visit again.
