Oniyama Hotel features a hot spring bath and a 24-hour front desk with free luggage storage service. Beppu Station is 16 minutes by car from Oniyama Hotel. Everything!! This was my second trip to Beppu after 8 years and I've decided to stay in Kannawa and it was the best choice ever. I'd say that the highlight of this hotel was the staff. They were just incredibly friendly and lovely. Everyone was smiling genuinely and was just super nice and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect too, right next to the main hells and 5min from the bus station (I took a taxi though coz of heavy luggage). Taxi ride to the station was pretty cheap anyway and I'd recommend it to the bus ( only about $7). Room was very spacious and had nice view over the mountains and I got to watch a sunset too!! They also have 3 private onsens which is bonus but the public one are really good and I love it. Thank you so much for the lovely stay! Oh and there was this lady that was looking after the floor and she was super cute and lovely too!

Featuring mountain views, hokkein-onsen kougen-terrace is situated in Kokonoe and offers a wellness area with a hot spring bath and a public bath. Big rooms. The breakfast and dinner were both great and affordable. They even had a string quartet playing over dinner which was cool.

Hotel Kazahaya offers a hot spring bath and a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Hita. The accommodation features a hot tub. Classy comfortable room, warm in the winter. The cozy reading room of the hotel was a plus. Very friendly staff. Outstanding meals, way above the average food usually served in ryokans. Highly recommended hotel.
