The hospitality was excellent, and a special thanks to Mandira at the reception – she was extremely helpful, always smiling, and brought such positive energy every morning. Her kind and professional attitude made our stay even better. Due to some flight delays, we arrived at the hotel around 4 AM, and we were surprised and grateful that the night shift receptionist arranged food for us at that hour. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly showed how caring the staff is. We also want to thank the hotel manager, who was very helpful when we asked for tour guidance. He gave us clear and detailed information, which really helped us plan our trip smoothly. We truly loved the place and the service. Highly recommended – the team here goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and welcome!

The Skye Inn was the perfect introduction to Katmandu. Although I arrived at 1:00 AM, they had a driver waiting. The staff was consistently informative and welcome. The buffet breakfast had many delicious selections. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, with money a money exchange, restaurants and shops within steps. I plan to return to Nepal and the Skye Inn will be my choice once again.

Been coming to Katmandu for many years. This hotel is on par with a 3.5 to 4 star. 3. Oh gosh the bed! Is the equivalent to the Westin Heavenly bed. Unbelievable that this type bed is found in a Nepal hotel at this price. 4. Excellent shower and pressure. 5. 2 star amenities but who cares with such an incredible bed and shower :) 6. Did not eat or do anything at the hotel. Staff were great as most hotels in Nepal. 7.Having tried about 6 hotels in Thamel, this is now my go to spot.
