Set in Riksgränsen, 43 km from Ofoten Museum, Niehku Mountain Villa offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Exceptional service start to finish + setting and facilities to match. Dinner and breakfast experience were both divine. Cocktails were both unique and exquisite. We were only there 1 night to break up a longer journey, but intend to stay longer next time to enjoy the experiences they offer i.e. skiing, snow mobile excursions etc. Bonus = best gym I've seen in a hotel.

Please note that bedlinen, towels and departure cleaning are not included in the rate of Cottages, Quadruple rooms, Family rooms and dorm beds. Sauna facilities were free of charge. Breakfast was super good!

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. Location is good, especially in our case that we had a rented car. Delicious breakfast and fresh every morning

Located a 10-minute drive from central Kiruna, this hotel offers free WiFi, regional cuisine and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. Hotel staff was really good, friendly and welcoming. There was a grocery store nearby. Pizza at the hotel restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was exceptional. Luggage storage was provided. Also sleds for kids. Facilities like swimming pool, sauna, library and gym were excellent. Saw northern lights and nacreous clouds at the hotel.

A recently renovated campground located in Gällivare, Piilijärvi Camping features a shared lounge. Everything was clean and seemed to be fairly recently renovated. Communal spaces were clean with quite well equipped kitchen. Sauna was great and lake was good for swimming. Location next to the main road is very useful.

Located in Kvikkjokk, Årrenjarka Mountain Lodge offers accommodation with a terrace or a patio, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a restaurant and a bar. Exceptional location near Kvikkjokk and Padjelanta National Park. A good place to recover from hike and get first aid for your gear and self.

This guest house is in the centre of Abisko and next to Abisko National Park. Depending on the season, the midnight sun and the Northern Lights can be viewed from the property and surrounding area. Close to train station( if you are coming with it), close to the only one Food Store around. Not far from Tourist station and the Lake

Located by Mount Luossavaara, Malmfältens Folkhögskola offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi and a TV. All guests have access to a shared kitchen and lounge. Because the room we'd originally booked hadn't been cleaned, we were allotted a bigger room - actually a small apartment - as there were no other rooms available. This was done immediately, without any quibbling - we were very impressed that we were not just asked to wait while the original room was cleaned. As we ended up staying at the Folkhogskola for 5 days instead of 2 (because of train cancellations) we very much appreciated this - the apartment was particularly good value. It was warm, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. The location is very quiet, and the reception staff were always very helpful, too. There's also a room next to the reception where you can leave your luggage. We had time to explore the local area (away from the town) and found some lovely walks.

Situated in central Gällivare, Scandic Gällivare is 7 minutes' walk from Gällivare Train Station. Free use of the indoor pool and free WiFi access. The gym and pool are great The food is very good
