The guided morning walk was a highlight, immersing me in the stunning surroundings and deepening my appreciation for the local ecosystem. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Crossroads Hostel 1957 was such a welcoming place to arrive at. Aflah really took care of me on arrival as I was exhausted from a long journey from Kochi and Kozhikode. My room was upgraded and Sundar promptly made me a delicious lunch. In fact Sundar was a master in the kitchen, and all meals are prepared for guests. It is a very chill place to visit, grab a bike or pick a book to read enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Oh and Trance the dog will adopt you immediately, he is so gorgeous.

From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.
