Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. We were very happy to stay in this beautiful hotel with a great staff. From check-in to check-out, everything was fine. The rooms are modern and offer a fantastic view. The area is very nice and clean. The food at the Welligama Kitchen is definitely a highlight, and we enjoyed the excellent food and service a lot. We would like to express a special thank you to our personal "assistant," Nishadi; she was very kind and helpful. We would also like to thank the great kitchen and service team, with a special mention to Nazmi, Thiruna, and Fayaz. They truly made a difference by doing a fantastic job in making us feel very welcome and providing a high-end service. In conclusion, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of outstanding service, luxurious accommodations, and culinary delights made it a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked inside, we were greeted by Enrico with a big smile. The rooms are modern clean and spacious, with a luxurious feeling bathroom. We loved the rooftop to relax with ocean views, dinner up there was a highlight. Enrico was a standout , very attentive, super friendly and made us feel right at home. We would recommend to other guests and believe Enrico will continue to thrive as his dream comes alive.

The location is amazing, nature here is realy beautiful. You can swim in the river next to the resort. Facilities are clean and new.

The family is so kind and the breakfast is amazing, the best we have had in Sri Lanka. The room is comfortable, very new, with a very good shower. About 10 mins walk to the beach, many restaurants on the way. Definitely recommend staying here.

Staff were very attentive and kind. One of the places I’ve felt the most comfortable staying in Sri Lanka. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting hiriketiya. Property is a few minutes walk from popular restaurants and a 15 min walk from hiriketiya beach making it quiet and peaceful for you to rest. If ever, you can also relax on the lounge chairs and your private pool. Overall, 10/10 and would stay here again.
