The room was awful.
The room was awful. From broken AC unit, broken fridge, broken curtains and broken toilet. When addressed with front desk they said there was nothing they could do because hotel was at capacity. So we had light pouring through the windows (hallway windows so always light) an ac unit that made a sound like it was going to explode every 15 seconds...alllllll night...so no one slept which destroyed the entire reason for the stay. When I discussed the with manager the next day he offered me 30% of my NEXT stay. I will absolutely never be back and will continue to tell people how awful this experience was. He truly did not care. I guarantee nothing was fixed and they carried on letting that room to other travelers.

Very convenient to YEG. Nisku was a hamlet with a few grain elevators and few houses in my youth. The Nisku kids came to Leduc for their schooling. Now none of the hamlet remains among the oil industry lay down yards and service businesses. Even the west side of highway 2 is changed (there's a farm that farms aluminum: camper and trailer storage!)

Lots to do from shopping, casinos and the horse track. I would also recommend the Rig Hand Distillery down the road (6min away). Even if you're not a big drinker the restuarant is so amazing and it's kid friendly..has a playground and wall climbing, it's really a hidden gem, they do tours as well.

Nisku is a very convenient location for those needing access to the airport. Most hotels offer shuttle service which is very convenient. The hotel I stayed at also offered parking for my vehicle while I was away for a very minimal cost compared to airport fees. I would highly recommend people stay at Nisku if you are considering staying overnight prior to an early flight or after a late arrival. The hotel I stayed at had a very reasonable price and was well worth what I paid. The only downfall about Nisku is that there are very few (if any) fast food places, so if you are in a hurry or are looking for food outside of regular restaurant hours, you have to cross the QE2 overpass and look for places on the airport side. It would be nice if there was a Tim Hortons or McDonalds or something similar on the Nisku side.

We weren't here very long - midnight to seven - so can't really recommend much. Nisku is close to airport-- but Leduc is closer. Don't really want to knock Nisku but we've agreed Leduc would be our choice for a place to stay.

I liked that the flooring was ceramic and not rug.
I liked that the flooring was ceramic and not rug. We were in pet friendly room and really dislike rug on the floor. I didn’t like that our room didn’t have a table and chairs. We ate in the room and it made it difficult.
