Situated in Comox and with Comox Ferry Terminal reachable within 7.5 km, Comox Valley Guest House features free bikes, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. Everything. I wasn't sure what I was getting for the affordable price. I opted for the bunk bedroom that I fortunately didn't need to share with anyone. I had access to everything from the washing machine to the kitchen and bathroom. I was only sharing with one other person who's residing in a spare room here. The host was a gem with goals of turning this into a wellness retreat. Had an amazing massage/healing treatment for an extra charge but it was so worth it. I think I'm one of the first visitors to her home and I can't recommend it enough. This isn't a hotel so if that's what you're looking for this isn't for you. It's a shared living arrangement in a large basement suite. Hostel style living. 4 minute drive to downtown comox, 4 minutes to tim hortons and McDonald's if that's your thing. Also only a 10 min drive to most beaches.

The host was very friendly and helpful, which made the whole trip even more pleasant. The location is close to both the airport and the ferry terminal. I was very satisfied with the overall experience and would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you for the warm hospitality!
