Shuttle bus drivers were very professional and friendly. Beautiful house with secure fencing to feel safe. Considering the price difference to an airport hotel, this is an awesome option.

A recently renovated apartment, Casa Bosque GuestHouse & Car Rental - Free SJO Airport Shuttle offers accommodations in Desamparados. The apartment was very cutely decorated, had plenty of places to sit, dishes, fans in both of the rooms, dressers and drawers to put your things away, and lots of outlets! Plus the WIFI was very strong, there were cold water bottles in the fridge upon arrival, and tea and coffee were available as well. Luis was very kind and picked me up from the airport when my flight arrived. He was very helpful!

Located within 20 miles of Poas National Park and 1.9 miles of Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium, Toucan Hostel has rooms in Alajuela. I liked the most how the lady (forgot her name) helped me book taxi early in the morning. She was even awake at 4 am to make sure that taxi is there. Its really close to the airport, but you need to book transportation bc of traffic you cant really walk till airport
