Hotels near Milan Malpensa Airport - MXP, Milan

Clean and quiet location, a very short drive to Malpensa Airport. Perfect for a one night stay upon arrival/departure. There is a small breakfast available in the morning with pastries and a machine dispensing coffee, lattes etc.. The hotel is completely gated, including the parking area, which made us feel safe about leaving our car there. Cons: you need a car to reach it (not sure if they have a shuttle service), or to find any food options in the area. The coffee machine at the reception is off during most of the day and at night. If you get there with a late flight you're out of luck. The rooms at the ground floor by the garden lack privacy. There are heavy curtains available, but those block all natural light. I wish they had some frosted glass on the windows to allow light in and provide privacy.

Very close to MXP airport. Italy has a very good rail network and Ferno has a train station about 1 mile from the B&B I have stayed in. You can have a full course lunch for 15 euros at a nearby restaurant

It's a satellite district on the side of the Malpensa airport. It's a good location for a subsequent drop-off or pick-up the next day. Getting to this area by car - in my view anyway - is not sign-posted but Google maps seems to know the way well enough! There are a couple of restaurants in this area that seem to have got good reviews. The real question is how to get to/from the airport. There is a public shuttle bus on the main airport boundary road that you can just about drag a bag with wheels to easily enough to get to the (fairly) obvious bus stop. Some hotels will arrange a more personal door-to-door shuttle taxi for a fee. Some may provide this free - but I can't say for certain and I doubt it!

The town itself is not much. A nice little piazza/main church and a few shops. The big thing to see here is the Parco Ticino with miles of walking trails through the woods that border the airport. Fascinating place with an open air history museum. Worth a trip.

We were there because it is close to the Malpensa airport. We did not notice noise from the airport. It turned out to be a great place to relax and have a wonderful dinner. Breakfast was included with our room which was a big help as our plane left the next morning. The hotel has shuttle service to the airport which was another reason we chose to stay there. We would certainly stay there again.

This hotel was the perfect location for pre flight stay. 10 minutes to airport and they have a shuttle if necessary as well as parking if you have a car. Gas station two minutes away if you have a rental that needs to be filled before return. Quiet neighborhood location and absolutely no airport noise. We ate at the hotel bistro and they had good basic food for dinner. Very good breakfast included. Beautiful patio and garden.
