Facing the beachfront, Hulhule Island Hotel- Private Beach Access & Airport Pick-up and Drop offers 4-star accommodation in Male City and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. I stayed one night at Hulhule Island Hotel in Malé after my speedboat transfer to Dhighura was cancelled due to rough seas, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the night. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but the location and facilities are excellent — perfect for a short stay near the airport. I even had the chance to enjoy a quick snorkel right there, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was outstanding, and I want to especially thank the kind egg chef who noticed I was struggling with an injured hand and helped plate my food — such a thoughtful gesture! The bar staff were also fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended even if it’s a bit pricey — the service and comfort make it well worth it.

Set in Male City, 300 metres from Hulhumale Ferry Terminal and 600 metres from Henveiru Park, Nalahost 2BR Seaview Terrace apartment offers air conditioning. My family of 5 stayed here for 1 night before heading to our island resort early next morning - it was the most perfect place for us - in my opinion much better value for money than staying in a hotel whether you are 1 person or 6! The apartment is 10mins away by taxi from the airport and couldn’t be in a more convenient location as we needed to be back at the airport early the next morning - we got food from the Mexican restaurant just downstairs as we arrived quite late (our flight landed at 8pm), and ate in the apartment as it was well equipped. We had bottles of water in the fridge for us which was well needed. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean. The beds are all very comfortable and the rooftop patio is just amazing - too bad we didn’t get much of a chance to use it. The host was so helpful from the moment I made the booking and answered all my questions without any delays - I felt incredibly reassured by the host’s advice and detailed instructions. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to everyone for a short or long stay, especially if you are travelling with family.
