Booked as needed an overnight stay as close to the airport as possible. These apartments are 5 min taxi from airport (i paid 90php via grab desk at arrivals). Concierge also booked me a taxi back to the airport the following day. Immaculately clean, superb pool, aircon in both the bedroom and living room, plus a decent shower with HOT water. It felt like a home from home given the living area, tv and big bed - sheer luxury after a month backpacking 😂 Host was also very responsive and provided snacks/ coffee/ bottled water in the apartment with an honesty box to pay. This was a nice touch 😊 5 min walk of the main road and a selection of restaurants/ cafes too.

They turned around, grabbed my stuff, and kept going to the airport. It’s super close to the airport in a beautiful building. The rooms are cozy with AC and hot water, and there’s a little lobby bar. Just what I needed to relax and recharge!

Mactan fa parte di Cebu e vicino al aeroporto quindi importante per chi arriva intercontinentali. È importante trovare un albergo vicino almeno per la prima notte. Io viaggio spesso nelle Filippine in particolare nel centro e arrivo sempre a Mactan la prima cosa che faccio è cercare un albergo nella vicinanze poi il giorno dopo mi sposta altrove

A Mactan ci vieni solo a girare un documentario o a soggiornare una notte prima di ripartire. Traffico assurdo, vita locale iper attiva in tutte le sue sfaccettature. Non piacevole da girare come turista anche perchè di turistico non c'è nulla a meno che non si voglia fare un giro nella povertà e nel caos locale. I resort sono tutti sulla costa e per arrivarci si passa in mezzo ad un mix di baracche e case.
