Hotels near John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice - KRK, Kraków

Very beautiful city, with quite a lot things to do! The castle and the church are the monuments to visit in first time! The city center is very nice, with a lot of churches that you can visit quickly for free. Krakow is also not so far from auschwitz-birkenau, thats a very interesting museum to do. There are also the salt mines, very beautiful place!! If you have children, or you want to relax, there is energylandia! A big attraction parc, that you can reach from Krakow main station with a train (1h). To eat, I recommend the restaurant Dorothy! That was incredible, and this is cheap! I hope that will help you! The location of the hotel was my number one choice and the security of the location was also the next and all of these were met.As I only need it for one night I did not bother at all about luxury but on the whole,the value for money was far much exceeded to my estimation as I can say and on that I say well done to the hotel.May be if they learn a bit more English as those who are at the reception so that communication flow will be great. There is also a service station which sells food in case you are late in checking in.I checked in after 10 pm. I liked it when the receptionist arranged for a Taxi to pick us up as early as 4 am and it was exactly as was arranged.Thank you very much and keep doing what you do best.

The owner communicated with me over Booking.com and provided detailed description of how to get in and out of the property. The property was clean and it had all that we needed. The only regret I have is that we didn’t stay any longer. There was a lovely patio outside and a pool and garden area with a playground for kids (which we have 3). The lady who owns the properties was so lovely when I called her at 23:00 panicking about a taxi to the airport (when 2 companies cancelled on me). She said she would help give us a lift to the airport at 3:30am. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The amenities are excellent. Everything seemed to be well thought out to meet the needs of travellers. Space for luggage is lacking. International travellers would most likely have full sized luggage.

If you book this “hotel” then you do at your own risk. It’s a house not a hotel, there was a shared bathroom right next door to their bedroom! No safety outside the bedroom it’s a 20 foot drop to the floor! You don’t pay at property you are driven to a cash machine and forced to pay cash!!! There is no lights or locks on your bedroom door, it’s filthy and smells of cigarettes. But don’t complain to booking com because their policy is the worst! Stranded at the airport over night and the customer service officer was absolutely unqualified he used the phonetic alphabet to spell his name using N for Nazi instead of November bearing mind we were in Poland! Totally unacceptable and very unhelpful. My partner has a medical machine that needs to be worn and he was totally unsympathetic no offer of a hotel close by just one five miles away! Which I had to pay again for! Never use them again rubbish

The staff was friendly and efficient. Due to flight delays, I checked in at after 2 in the morning, and that posed no problem. The free shuttle to the airport was great, and the breakfast was simple but delicious and reasonably priced. The room was a good size and very comfortable.
