The location was ideal, in a very quiet residential area. A 20 - 30 min walk from the airport, and 20 - 30 min walk to downtown. Taxis are also available. Marie-Hélène has a very well stocked apartment including a socket adapter in case you forgot yours. Plenty of appliances, cookware and dishes. The little deck off the living area is very private. The entire apartment was large and comfortable.

The owner was available and gave his time to pick us up from the ferry and deliver us back when the time came to leave. He was very attentive to our needs.

My friend and I had a wonderful time in Saint-Pierre at this accommodation! It was a nice space with everything we needed, and Josette was incredibly warm and welcoming. She gave us recommendations for things to do and was able to call a taxi for the airport. I would definitely stay here again!

Each ensuite bedroom is private and has a private mini-frig, but the kitchen and lounge are shared. The first two nights we stayed, there was one other couple there and we enjoyed their company at breakfast. We were the only guests when we returned later for a third night. The kitchen was very clean, extremely well stocked (with condiments and spices as well as tableware and cooking utensils), and the appliances were new and upscale. The excellent espresso machine was a treat. Gerard, the manager, took us down to the waterfront to introduce us to Les Zigotos- our interactions with them were the highlight of our visit to SPM He spoke very little English and we speak very little French, but gestures and Google translate did the trick. The location is uphill from restaurants and the harbour, but closer than some of the other inns and very walkable. I'd recommend getting a taxi when arriving from the ferry or airport, but otherwise, none is needed.

We had to catch a ferry at the last moment (our mistake!) and they helped us carry our baggage downstairs and then drove us down to the dock! -- such a generous and gracious thing to do!! I enjoyed the location so much -- was able to walk all over St. Pierre and see the sights -- even got to watch a petanque match that was already in progress. A magical experience to be on the island.
