The Comfort Inn Metro Airport is located off Interstate 94, just minutes from the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (commonly known as Detroit Metro Airport). I stayed here because of an unexpected flight delay/change. I was only there for a total of like 6 hours hahaha but the bed was comfy, the room was huge, plenty of toiletries. If I was planning on staying in Detroit longer than I'm sure I would have enjoyed a longer stay here. Conveniently located by the airport and there was a free shuttle. Considering I booked and checked in all within an hour, I was very impressed. There was definitely a distinct vibe, like you could film a good movie here. I felt safe but there was a fun spooky atmosphere. Loved it.

Very friendly staff, fantastic location, great value for small money. Other reviews were so negative, I'd had some reservations about going there, but that turned out to be totally unfair. I'd use the place again any time when I need a place at Detroit airport - terminals in easy reach by shuttle or even on foot
