The staff was exceptional and the food was excellent. The organization for game drives was perfect. I have nothing bad to say about that place. They even had outside showers. That was so special. If I have a suggestion, it is that there should be a mirror in the bedroom. There was only a mirror in the bathroom. Perfect vacation.

Set in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, Bushbaby River Lodge features a garden and year-round outdoor pool. The Orpen Gate of Kruger National Park is 73 km away. The staff were exceptionally helpful and nice. The room and facilities were immaculate.

The tour of the place at the beginning was a good touch with someone available on arrival. The place is well stocked and inviting for a relaxing time at the Den. Hosts were extremely friendly, quick to respond and happy to help where possible. Animal viewings in the morning were unexpected treat!

In a word...FABULOUS. From the greeting when we arrived(cleansing towels and refreshing drink),the introduction to the lodge, and the facilities themselves, you could not fail to be impressed. Staff were brilliant....thanks guide Gazza, tracker James, concierge Connie, of house Sipho, and Alfred (enjoy your Kiwi caps, team).Loved being in a smaller lodge with capacity of around 20 ish guests. Makes it very intimate. Saw the big 5 and plenty of other game. I've been to many game lodges over the past 40 years, and this is right up there with the best experience. Looking forward to going back!!Highly recommend!!

The property was really nice, clean and cozy. Especially our host Lynne was very accomodating and helpful and told us a lot about life in Hoedspruit and even drove us to a restaurant nearby and helped us when our luggage didnt arrive at the airport from cape town. Sometimes you can see even animals inside the lodge which is a lovely place. The breakfast was also very delicious. Thanks a lot, again! We had a great time and look forward to be back.
