All-Inclusive Stays in Marsa Alam City

It'been a great and relaxing week at the Portofino resort in Marsa Alam. Staff are really nice and reception always available to help. The animation team is fun and engafing, with activities at all times. There are also many restaurants for all the tastes. Eventually, pools are great and sea is just wonderful with plenty of fishes!

Just needed air con in my room

It is one of the best hotels in Egypt. Friendly staff, great location, modern design, great facilities, wonderful beach. We’ve got room upgrade for free, welcome fruits and bar filled with refreshing drinks in both rooms we’ve booked. Our flight landed early in the morning and we’ve received early check in, which was really convenient after long way to Egypt( we’ve spent in total 24 hours to get from home to the hotel). The rooms were really very clean, spacious, very light and with all the necessary facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just one day in the morning we had to ask for drinks 3 times and waited for them more than 20 minutes. But this incident hasn’t spoiled our vacations. The food in the main restaurant was really delicious. Everything tasted perfectly. Thanks for this to all the cooks. Also drinks we ordered in the bars were of good quality. We visited fish a la carte restaurant -the girl in the reception Mira refused to book one more a la carte restaurant though during our check in we were informed that we may visit two a la carte restaurants. The atmosphere in fish restaurant was really great as well as service. Free transfer to and from the airport was very helpful. The van was clean and comfortable, the driver was pleasant and helpful. We had early check out due to early flight and missed the breakfast. If the hotel organized breakfast to go it would be great but we didn’t get it. Despite some small issues I would definitely come back to this hotel once more. Hope to do it in autumn.

We’ve stayed at Cardina Resort twice already, and we’ll definitely come back again! We were there with our family and two nine-year-olds — it was an incredibly comfortable and safe vacation. The resort offers a great balance of entertainment for both adults and children. The rooms are spotless, and if anything breaks, it’s fixed immediately. Special thanks to Mr. Said and Mr. Ahmet for their attentive and caring attitude toward guests. The food is excellent — themed dinners, a pasta and egg station for breakfast, and fresh fruit at every meal. On the beach, you can grab burgers and fries — perfect for kids! There’s a wide variety of dishes, including plenty of options for vegetarians, as well as delicious fish and meat. The restaurant’s head chef Elneny truly deserves recognition! A big thank you to the animation team, especially Mommi, the best sports animator ❤️. And also thanks to the Ahmed fire for the great music and the incredible fire show — it was unforgettable! Overall, we highly recommend this resort!

I loved the setting of this hotel in its extensive and beautiful grounds. Such lovely gardens, and so many birds to watch - it was perfect. As was the service from the staff, - they managed to locate my Ipad which I had lost en route from Gatwick, and thanks to Mohamed, the Front Office Manager, assisted by Peter and Khaled at Reception, it was found at Marsa Alam Airport. Help too from Ahmed, the Lifeguard who took me snorkelling, and showed me a turtle I would never have noticed otherwise. The beach is a lovely sandy sheltered bay so you can snorkel directly from there or via a short bridge close to the Royal, and the reef itself does not disappoint. There is also a small heated pool in a walled setting, and is sheltered from the wind, so necessary in the winter months. The Restaurant was good too.

This vacation was our first experience with this hotel and chain, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Right from the start, we received a complimentary early check-in. This gesture was just the beginning of what felt like a constant effort by every staff member to go above and beyond to meet our needs. The resort itself is huge, combining two hotels—Vita and Villagio—under one roof. Guests have access to the facilities at both hotels. Although both of them were fully booked during our stay, it hardly ever felt crowded. The peak times for breakfast and dinner were sometimes busier, but we always managed to find a table. Dining was a highlight, with six restaurants across the resort offering a variety of cuisines, plus a special “themed” dinner every evening at one of the restaurants. The food selection was noticeably better than the average fare at most Egyptian hotels. The beach was spacious, with distinct areas where you could choose between a peaceful spot or a livelier section with music and activities. Vita Resort had just reopened six months ago following renovations, so our room was brand new. We booked a seafront bungalow, and it was an excellent choice—only a few minutes walk to the beach, with the Mediterranean restaurant nearby. We didn’t mind walking to the other restaurants, bars, or the main stage for evening shows. Long story short: If you’re looking for a high-quality resort experience, I absolutely recommend Portofino Vita! Overall, Portofino Vita has so much potential and an amazing team that truly elevates the experience. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to see how they continue to improve an already fantastic resort! We would like to extend our gratitude to Assist. Front Office Manager Mustafa Othman for his exceptional friendliness and his efforts to accommodate all of our needs. Special thanks to lifeguard Abdul, our housekeeper, and the beach and reception bar waitstaff. We felt like at home with their care❤️

I found this place by accident and it was absolute heaven! The beach by the bay is just paradise, the whole place is very beautiful, the staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The bed & shower were perfect. I would definitely stay here again!
