We had a really nice holiday! Whole hotel was very clean, it is situated in nice Beach area with a little creak. It was really nice to have a meal and watch duks in the river. Our room cleaning crew was very nice and helpful and spécial thank to Penelope at the front desk. She can do miracles. She arranged for us late check out, our flight was at the night and with two small kids, it was so useful. Food was great, kids enjoyed little pancakes every morning and they were over the moon with ice cream bar.

I liked everything about the hotel. From the staff at the reception to the staff at the restaurants and other hotel facilities. I would rate the staff as one of the best I have met so far, they were all working cohesively, super efficient and friendly. You would not wait more than a few minutes to get your order. The breakfast (and dinner) was great, with great selection of food. The hotel pool was nice but always busy, but as the beach is nearby, that was not a problem for my friends and me.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious.

The Rethymno Village is just 100 metres from the fine sand and blue sea of Platania’s beach. It offers a Greek restaurant and a fresh-water pool with pool-side snack bar.

Big pool, big rooms, very clean, good service, helpful staff, great choice of food, tasty coffee and ice-cream, good location: a beach, bus stops, car rentals, excursion organisers and shops nearby.

Very good location, right next to the beach. Close to the old city center. Hotel with 2 outdoor and 1 indoor swimming pools. Large room, with a balcony and a sea view. Comfortable, large bed. Very clean. Comfortable bathroom. A bottle of wine and a capsule coffee machine in the room were a nice addition. Very good breakfast. Very good and polite service. If I can, I will also choose this hotel next time.

This was our second stay at Kalypso and we find everything great value for money. As we're do not spend alot of time at the resort other than sleeping and breakfast it is perfect for needs. The rooms are large with fantastic sea views and breakfast had a nice variety. I find the ladies on reception to be lovely and willing to help with any requests.
