The hotel is a good choice for those who don’t have luxury expectations. Rooms are modest/standard, but clean and comfortable. Food: You won’t go hungry — there’s a selection of vegetables and fruits, meat, desserts, and side dishes. Drinks: Instant coffee (variety available), carbonated drinks, juices, beer, and spirits. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the waiters — we were with kids, the little one is 2 years old and very active and careless. Almost every day she spilled her juice, and the waiters helped us every time we asked (I was going to rate it an 8, but I’m giving it a 9 just because of them).

We spent a week in the hotel, which was very pleasant and relaxing. The room had beautiful sea view and it was cleaned well every day, The food in the main restaurant was perfect, every time there was wide choice of dishes and all of them were really delicious. In the evening there often were special theme dinners, original and yummy. The bars in the hotel lounge and by the swimming pool also offered nice drinks. We used the Spa service, two times hamam and four times massage therapy, thanks a lot to Nuri and Santini for high quality working with us. All the hotel staff was welcoming and attentive to us, we enjoyed our staying. We also appreciate the idea of Adult Only.

Absolutely fantastic place! Very quiet, super clean and service from the staff is at immensely high level. Rooms are fairly big, filled in with proper drinks/snacks every day and have a great view to the sea. Also the adult-only policy is great! Lots of security gives nice feeling of being safe and comfortable. See you next year! :)

The breakfast was superb and plenty of food and they gave a different breakfast each day and plenty of tea and coffee all day and night free and bedding changed in room each day very good stay for budget prices

From the moment we arrived all staff went out of there ways to make our stay special. The All Inclusive package was most generous with a wonderful range of food to cater for All. The verity of food was amazing with lovely changes to main meal every night. Food was available from early morning to past mid night. Drinks were available 24 hours a day. Less than a 5 minute walk to a private section of beach again with constant supply of food and soft drinks and sun loungers and umbrellas. I really could not find fault with anything and highly recommend Oba Star Hotel

Hotel has a private beach part with included sunbeds and umbrellas and you can use hotel beach bar where you can take beverages and food from all inclusive list. You can also taste a genuine turkish pancake freshly made on the spot by a Turkish Lady. Evening showtime is very professional with pro artists from outside of the hotel. (No showtime on Sundays). Disco in the pool bar from 10pm. Food at the main restaurant was very tasty (original taste unlike some of the 'all inclusive' at other hotels) and just enough variety for everyone to find someting for themselves. Replenished very often and accessible with minimal queues even at peak times. Lobby bar offers originally tasting turkish coffee and tea. Tea is served in traditional glasses. Place is clean. Beach is attended by a lifeguard from morning to afternoon (none in the late afternoon and evening). There is also a platform (approx 2m high) with a lifeguard on it where kids and adults can jump into the water. Reception lobby has comfortable sofas where you can enjoy drinking it. Reception staff is very caring and accommodating. We requested a room change and we got it the next day. We were even presented with two rooms to choose from. Receptionists helepd us to check the nearest marketplaces (bazaars), told us options of transfer there. When we wanted to check the transfer price to another city they picked up the phone and checked the price for us with the taxi company. Hotel is very international. Good for families. Hotel grounds are inhabitated by cats. There is plenty frienfly ones willing to be petted. Overall the hotel and location are worth recommending!
