Opposite Inverness Castle, Inverness Palace Hotel & Spa, WorldHotels Distinctive is located on the banks of the River Ness. Great location. Beautiful room. Great staff. Ignore the comments about the lift. It's not huge but it works fine.

Located within 10 acres of landscaped grounds, the Victorian-style Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro Hotel offers breathtaking views of the Trossachs. Dinner by chef Nick Nairn at the Kailyard was fabulous and the dining room and staff were wonderful as well. Loved all the extra touches and classy extras in the hotel and room such as nice toiletries, comfy bed, warm hotel cookies, etc
