The Royal Opera House is located opposite the hotel and is worth a visit, although the tour of the place is short. It is walking distance to shops, good cafes and restaurants. The hotel offers transportation, but it is also possible to order transportation/taxi outside the hotel area. Long and nice beach promenade. The hotel has a great pool, with nice facilities. Similarly, a great infinity pool with a beautiful view. Nice staff who look after you at all times and make sure you get what you need - when you want it. This hotel deserves its stars. No matter where you are, whether you are on your way in or out, at the reception, or at one of the several dining options, including the breakfast buffet, you will meet professional and genuinely nice and interested people. Staff who really care about you. All requests are handled, when we needed help in the room this was arranged immediately. Room service checks in several times a day. The surroundings are otherwise as you would expect, a very good standard of everything. You get what you pay for. The food we ate; breakfast, by the pool, on the rooftop bar was delicious. Fresh and good ingredients - also current drinks. I would like to conclude by specifying the people, the employees, who really deserve praise. Personal follow-up, nice gestures along the way... Located in the center of Muscat, 5 km from Mutrah Souq and National Museum , the tallest hotel in Muscat, Sheraton Oman Hotel features a bar and spectacular views of the city. Walkable to the Ruwi Bus Station, which is the most convenient for taking local buses. The room is spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is well equipped. Quite some cheap but good eats around the hotel. Staff are helpful when you're in need.

Located near the beach, this 4-star hotel in Qurum offers a temperature-controlled outdoor pool and spacious rooms with satellite TV. Relaxation options include a fitness centre and Turkish bath. I had a great stay, staff were lovely and so accommodating, pool was great on a hot Omani day (especially as it was shady after about 1/2pm), and it is very handy having restaurants and a bar on site. It is also a 5 minute walk to the beach, or to Crowne if you want to check out their beach, and about a 10 minute drive to the corniche. There are taxis waiting outside if you need.
