We arrived in Pizzo on the last (or second-to-last) day of our trip through Calabria, so unfortunately we only stayed for one night. I say unfortunately because, first of all, Pizzo is a truly charming town and worth staying longer, and secondly because the hotel was genuinely excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight home wasn’t until late in the evening, but we were allowed to stay by the pool and in the garden the entire day without any issues. They also arranged transportation to the airport and even let us check out a bit later than usual—all of this despite only staying one night. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced. They serve drinks and food throughout the day in their lovely garden. The location is close enough to both the town center and the beach. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here.

Modern renovated apartment in the heart of Pizzo. The bedroom and living room were huge.

With city views, Residenza Nausicaa - 50 meters from the beach is located in Pizzo and has accommodation with a kitchen.

Everything about this place was spectacular! Off the beaten track but easy to get to. Early October weather was 25-30 C and sunny every day. Beach is nice and not so busy. Short sleeves while having an evening dinner at any restaurant patio. Wish we had stayed longer - 2 nights was not enough if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting away from tourist hot spots. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

Location is great. Staff very nice. The kitchen is well equipped, washing machine (common area), pool, working a/c and anything you need on vacation. Close to Tropea and Zambrone beach. Conad supermarket and pharmacy 18min easy walk. Cafeteria by the sea 5min walk. Nice restaurants 5-15 min drive. We were travelling with young kids. The owners of the place are helpful, delicate and lovely. The place itself is great, very nice point of view, ideal for holidays.

It was a great experience and much better than I expected. The staff was very friendly, the facilities are superb and it was surprisingly cheap. Very recommended

Facing the seafront, Il Calabriano Residence offers 3-star accommodation in Zambrone and has a garden, bar and shared lounge.

We should have stayed there for one night. Every day we extended it by one more day. Result? We stayed there for the entire holiday. Hope to come back to il calabriano in the future. The best holiday ever and belive me-we travel a lot. Amazing beaches arround, Tropea, Gelato Pepe in Parghelia, hidden places without people, amazing service- quick chat with receptionists in the morning and your day automatically gets better. 💗

Owner's of the hotel 🏨 are really helpful and active people. When we have find out that train service is out of order because of strike, my daughter has spoken to the owner of hotel and in next 30min we were travelling to Reggio di Calabria by renting car (cabrio) for 50 euro a day. We have enjoyed that day so much.
