That same day, he arranged a free upgrade to a spacious room on the top floor, complete with a balcony and beautiful city view. It was the perfect welcome and made us feel truly special from the very beginning. Throughout our stay, the staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive—from the front desk to housekeeping. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and a perfectly made bed every time. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Another highlight of this hotel is its excellent location—situated in a quiet area of Muscat but within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and malls. It made exploring the city very easy and convenient. This stay was much more than just a place to sleep—it was a memorable experience and the perfect beginning to our honeymoon. We wholeheartedly recommend Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat to anyone looking for comfort, warm hospitality, and a great location. We’d love to come back one day. :)

Excellent location. Cottage well equipped and clean. Meals good and plentiful. Kind owner. If you don't feel too confident in driving on the sand then ask someone to come and drive for you. Getting there is quite challenging and in my opinion a regular SUV may be too weak (which doesn't mean you won't get there - it will just be difficult).

The hotel features 3 swimming pools including an indoor pool exclusively for ladies. In addition it offers a fitness centre and a Turkish steam bath. I really liked the location, spacious rooms, modern furniture and kitchen appliances, and overall safety of the property.
