We had a wonderful time here. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The location is stunning, perched on top of a mountain. In the summer, it’s pleasantly cool up there, while the valley below was quite hot. The owner is very nice and always willing to help or think along if you have a small request. For Swiss standards, it’s also reasonably priced.

Isabella is a perfect host and very kind. The location is very close to Iseltwald, yet you are in a beautiful village with a fantastic pastoral view. The flat is immaculate and tidy. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This property is probably one of the best in this whole area. Pictures don't do justice to the real feel while we were staying there. The apartment is fully equipped with everything such as kitchen with cutlery and utensils, bedrooms are clean and tidy and have extra pullovers and pillows, the lounge has huge TV with a sound system.. there is parking included in the apartment basement which is directly connected through a lift, these are all plus points but the View from the apartment is something which would just make your whole trip to Switzerland worthwhile. You can see the Ferry point of Iseltwald just outside the terrace of this apartment, which is a place where tourists are flowing in through the ferry from Interlaken and just drop off here and take pictures at the same point and go back to Interlaken. Checking in was super easy and the host at the reception was a really sweet lady who welcomed us warmly and took us to the apartment to explain everything. I highly recommend this apartment for a family vacation in Switzerland, one of the best you would come across!

Helen was just wonderful. For your info, there are 2 busses with number 103. We obviously did not notice and when we were asked to get off the bus at Brienz See stop, she came from her house to pick us up. The view you get from the room is just as the pictures. It's just a short 70m walk to the lake where you can take a stroll or run. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop from this place. 6 to the ferry which is right next to the "Crash Landing on You" site. Facilities were great. Fully functioning kitchen, large room and bath, TV, and WiFi. Hot water may run out but I just found out it's a nationwide problem.

We had an unforgettable stay in Brienz! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking during our holiday. The location is very convenient and easy to reach. What made the stay extra special was the breathtaking view at the back of the house—right by the lake! We even went for a swim and enjoyed the peaceful, stunning scenery with the lake and surrounding mountains. Absolutely magical! Our host was kind, responsible, and quick to respond to any questions or issues. Communication was smooth throughout our stay. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Brienz. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

    I've known Herr Rubi, the owner and manager of Chemihüttli, since 2004. He has always been impeccable as a host and I often use him as an example of how a hotel should be run. Not only the apartments are in perfect working order and clean, but the way Herr Rubi and his team look after you will make you feel at home from day one. Parking is available on site (our car was parked five steps from the flat's door!) and, when the weather allows it, you can ski on and out.

    Beautiful property, amazing views and great hospitality. The property is located up in the mountain so we could view the sunrise, sunset and moonrise everyday from our beds. Every morning freshly baked bread rolls or bread loaf and croissants with butter, jams, soft cheese or hard cheese and coffee capsules were served out side the apartment in a cute breakfast basket. Upon request, eggs were also served. We enjoyed the serenity, freshness and relaxation throughout our stay. There is a kiosk and bus stop less than 5 mins from the apartments.

    The best place to stay in Switzerland!! Lovely staff, nice breakfast, clean + amazing views!! 5*. Our apartment(house) was huge with nice shower, kitchen , comfy beds and a big dining table. For 1000% I will be back!!

    We stayed at this beautiful apartment during our trip to Switzerland, I would only say that stay ws WONDERFUL. Apartment was very clean and located in top of the Axalp mountain and route to the apartment itself was filled with thrilling and beautiful views of Lake Brienz. Ruby at Reception was very helpful and kind.. I would totally recommend this property

    Beautiful location away from the crowds where you can experience the true Switzerland close to Interlaken. Very friendly hosts who make you feel home. The apartment was very spacious and sparkling clean. A tasty combination of rustic, traditional, and modern. The natural fireplace added to the cozy and relaxing experience. The bathroom was the best wheelchair accessibe I've seen.
