Roberto the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was so peaceful there, and the view from the garden was incredible (especially at sunset).

The property is exactly as advertised and the view is spectacular. It is a small newly-renovated apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. And unlike some apartments in Manarola you can reach the building without going up or down stairs between streets. If you come by train, take the pedestrian tunnel from the railway platform through to the town and turn right up the main street, then right again into Via Belvedere. Google Maps might tell you to turn left, but you might regret doing that if you have heavy bags!

Our trip was disrupted by the strike on the railroad and we were delayed by a day. Our host in Montarola - Gianluca - was very helpful and adjusted to our late arrival. He met us at the railroad station and walked to the apartment. Finding it on our own in the narrow streets of the old city could be challenge. Gianluca gave us a brief introduction to the situation with restaurants and grocery stores on a way to the apartment. The apartment was sufficiently equipped, well maintained and perfectly located. The balcony in our apartment offered a stunning sea view.

This is where you need to stay if you want INCREDIBLE ocean views and a spacious balcony! The air conditioning was ice cold. The unit was close to the train station. The unit had a lot of character with a cool spiral staircase and an adorable living room and dining area. I feel so fortunate that this is where we stayed as it was very difficult to tell online what was a good location/what actually had good views. The host was lightning fast in answering any of my questions before the stay and when we arrived and my teenager needed the wifi code. I will return with my hubby in the near future. Also, Manarola is the best bc it is not too big and not too crowded. Yay!

    Quirky apartments with good facilities. 👍 Views at top of hill were exceptional No. 26 faces the hillside No. 47 was a beautiful studio at top of hill and the views r amazing right outside the door to the left

    Be aware that the owner has several appartements. We rented studio Lucio (2 persons, Via Belvedere 136). - location is close to the city center - it was possible to check in early (or drop your luggage) - nice view from the balcony - spacious apartment - microwave and fridge available - good value for money

    I collected the keys from the rental office on the same street. The lady there was so helpful as we had heavy suitcases and there were so many stairs to climb up to the apartment. Her and her friend lifted the cases up for us. (For leaving there is a crazy man (Italian style driver!) who will take your cases downstairs and deliver them to the railway platform for 10 euros a case) The apartment was clean, there was a washing machine which was welcome. It was also very quiet.

    The apartment was spacious, cheap and was extremely well located. All the amenities listed were provided and communication was excellent. They even let us leave our bags around after check out as well as letting us use the laundry.
