DARKUM Apartment - PETRA Period: 21/04/25 to 24/04/25 (3 nights) Guests: 6 Adults (2 couples & 2 adult children) Accommodation:: 1 super-large double with en-suite shower/toilet/wash-basin, 1 x super-large double, 1 x triple (3 single beds). 1 x super-large kitchen-diner, 1 x large lounge, 1 x entrance hall. 1 x shower room with toilet & wash-basin. Ample parking & open space . Step-free throughout living accommodation. Located on the outskirts of Petra in a local residential area, well away from the tourist noise & bustle. Mini-supermarkets for essentials within walking distance & two local masjids as well close by. Facilities' used: Wi-Fi, TV etc. Dining table set, Kitchen storage, Crockery, Cooking-ware & utensils. Gas Cooker with oven, Microwave, Fridge-Freezer. Washing Machine, Vacuum cleaner. Fully furnished rooms & lounge. Portable electric heaters. Our experience:: Excellent, wonderful, homely. Host (Mum), Mohammed (& Ayman) were helpful from the time we booked to the day we left. Mohammed specks good English & was very helpful with any arrangement, need or request – going out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.. Breakfasts provided were freshly made; hearty & healthy, made with local foodstuffs. We simply advised of the time & it was ready - even as early as 6.30am!. Mum will also do dinner if requested, at a very reasonable JoD cost (we simply did no have time to take this up). This is simply perfect for families. Ahmeed is a super host! Super kind and helpful for any request we made! His wife prepared us a suuuper dinner for us super traditional, and gave us a very early take away breakfast before our visit to Petra. He also advised us a nice Turkish hammam and let us have a discount there.

Staff were very friendly and gave us great advice about our trip to Petra.

Fantastic view, easy parking. Clean and big aparment with modern air-conditioners. 3 bathrooms! ( 5 guys) We stayed here only 1 night, and arrived late evening, he was waiting for us with drinks and fantastic jordanian dinner (great price). He did everything, we just had to sit down and feel the delecious food. We left to aparment in 6.00 am, and he did the breakfast at 5.15 am!! we were amazed how flexible they were with always big smile on the face! His family packed foodpacks( good price) for us because we were heading to visit petra. After breakfast we had an amazing conversation with him, giving us tips how to visit petra, said just text him if we need help in petra or wadi rum. Fantastic apartment and unforgettable person! I highly reconmend it!

Excellent all around. The stuff was super super friendly , helpful, informative and knowledgeable. Rooms extremely clean. Children friendly. Small kitchen . TV room with loads of channels. Highly recommended

The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, the location is very close to the city of Wadi Mousa and the host waited for us and helped us with luggage. We also had complimentary tea, coffe and snacks.

The host very nice guy met us immediately when we arrived, and it was really important due to long jorney all of way from Dubai through Wadi Rum desert to visit incredible Petra! Breakfast was really nourishing and varied. Moreover the host offered us a dinner the same day we arrived and it was amazingly huge and delicious local cuisine with lots of additional snacks and drinks for really decent price!!! Room is cozy and clean, bed is big and comfy!

Otaiba (the owner) was the most fantastic host we have ever had in our life, from the moment we got off the bus to when we were leaving for wadi rum. There is nothing we could fault. 10/10 service and accommodation!

The place was really clean and comfortable, we stayed there 2 nights to visit Petra. I definitely would recommend the place, it's five minutes driving from the visitor center of Petra and the hosts were extremely attentive and friendly. Making sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Plus: they also have a public kitchen, that you can use to cook whatever you want.
