Everything. It’s exactly the same as in the photos. And the owner was amazing, replying quick and really kind, always ready to help. The location is great, right next to a bus stop and we had everything we needed for the start (toilet paper, oil, hairdrier…)

Very good location. Apartment was clean and well equipment. Apartment looks exactly like in the pictures. Perfect view to harbour especially during the sunrise. There is self check-in so you can come to the accommodation whenever. I always found park spot near the apartment.

We arrived early as requested an earlier check in and straight away the apartment was just so welcoming with details about the area, Malta and Gozo advertised and telling you everything you can do on the island.

The apartment itself was beautiful it comes with a pool and amazing view and an brilliantly refurbished house. Genuinely every facility within the apartment was gorgeous!! It comes equiped with ac, WiFi , a tv, an equipped kitchen with cutlery and/pots and seasoning. However what made our stay the most enjoyable was how genuinely kind the hosts were. They offered to drive us to and from the airport and were there whenever we needed help or assistance with anything- they are life savers!! We had a power outage on our fourth day, however, they had come and flipped the breaker on and even stayed to double check everything was working (keeping in mind this was at around 10 pm/11 pm) and there were no issues and then proceeded to let us know we could call them regardless of time if it happened again! On top of this when we had arrives to the airport one of the hosts and his son explained different areas to visit and recommended beaches and food spots and even told us about the tallinja app and what kind of bus card we should buy if we needed any. In marsakala there is so many nice restaurants that are extremely affordable like Angelina’s who have an amazing seafood risotto! And the convenience stores in the area are extremely affordable and are open till late. The area is a small village however there is so much to do and the people and are lovely! I would definitely recommend staying at Barcaluna if you come Malta it is worth the money!!! We definitely will be coming again <3

We really loved our stay at this apartment. Beautiful sea view, it made every day better :), the property was clean, we had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. There were two private bathrooms, that’s very convenient to family of six 😄. What we loved the most were ACs in every room, as we are not used to temperatures in Malta. Owner of the property was lovely and nice, when we had a problem with one of the ACs, she immediately called an electrician who repaired it.

Fantastic apartment, spacious penthouse balcony. Amenities included full kitchen, washing machine and there’s a lift in the property which is handy if you’ve heavy luggage. The bedrooms are towards the rear of the apartment & so it was nice and quiet. The owner ensured the stay was comfortable & nothing was too much trouble. A small bakery/ convenience store is located across the road & eateries on the harbour vicinity.

    Clean apartment, spacious for a family of 4 if you wish to stay indoors on hot days. Penthouse has nice view of sea with a good size terrace. 3 aircos- one in each bedroom and living room. building has lift to 5th floor where penthouse is. grocery store,quick pizza shop, sea beach,airport bus stop(Noqra) all at walking distance.

    The apartment was lovely, had all the essentials in there which made it easier as travelled with the backpack only. Very clean, clear instructions, Caroline was very polite and informative. The bus that goes to Valetta is only 2-3min away, right next to the flat you can swim, food places are a few min away. I highly recommend!

    Charming apartment with everything contained that might be required for a self catering holiday. Christian was a good host and easy to contact. The apartment was clean, tidy and a joy to be in. Plenty spacious for the 4/5 people it sleeps. The mattresses are quite firm and that is my one and only niggle. Otherwise an exceptional place, close enough to everything in marsaskala. I had family on the other side of the bay and petunia was within 20minutes of everything I needed access to.

    Everything went 100pc smoothly. Host was really helpful and responded to any messages super fast. Not sure why booking.com describe it as a ‘studio’; it’s a very good one bedroom apartment (i.e. separate bedroom). Very nicely decorated and well equipped with some nice details (washer dryer, TV you can cast to from your own device etc). Easy bus ride to Valletta (and from there anywhere). It’s about a 12 second walk from the front door to the sea-front

    Everything was clean and perfect for couple. Entire penthouse was supplied with everything that you need and everything was more than perfect. Kitchen is provided with all the necessary things with nice and clean bathroom and big terrace. I recommend this apartment to everyone, Alessandro as host as well, he was more than helpful and he helped us from the airport till our last day at Malta. Nothing but the best, see ya soon for sure! 👍
