Location has splendid views over Gustavia harbor, and relatively easy access to the restaurants and shops. Though the hotel is not on the beach, it is a short walk from a lovely public beach, Shell Beach at Anse de Grand Galet, where Shellona bar/restaurant is located. Set in a beautiful setting right on the water, surrounded by a gorgeous beach (keep in mind there are big waves, great for surfing but not good for small children). We loved taking surf lessons, the amazing breakfast and especially the incredible massage right by the ocean. The staff is very attentive and the food is better (fresh, tasty) than most of the cool / fancy places on the island. Such a peaceful yet active environment.
