everything. best accommodation that we stayed in with nicest and most helpful owners ever!!! celestina and carlos, thank you for everything. the best of cabo verdian hospitality :-) carlos came to pick us up from the port (for free), celestina served us some delicious grogue and cake. they also organized a turtle tour for us and carlos drove us there and waited for us, as well as giving us a full tour of the island in his car :-). the last day they both drove us to the airport at 6 am to say goodbye. and they recommended an excellent restaurant with live music (metalo) and other activieties. excellent hospitality, we will be back for sure! The apartment is super new, super clean, with eveyrthing that you need, air conditioning, washing machine, all kitchen utensils, really nice shower with unlimited hot water. celestina left us really delicous breakfast (local jams, bread, ham, cheese...), fruit and juices for the duration of our stay. beach towels were provided too -- they really thought of every single detail :-). the apartment is in a nice, safe neighbourhood 5 min walk away from the main city beach, which for us was the most beautiful beach on the island, safe for swimming, many restaurants (some other beaches had too many waves and were unsafe for swimming, plus this city beach had the most amazing blue colour of the water). there are numerous restaurants within like 5min walk from the apartment. you can also walk to the city centre (like 15 min walk to the main square). i wish i could give more than 10, because they trully deserve it!

The apartment is new, comfortable, and is well equipped. The host/owner was very helpful, booking a cab from the airport, (which is only a 15 minute drive away from the apartment,) and recommended places for us to eat out/ hire a scooter from etc. He was also responsive to any requests or small queries. Overall a great place to stay

The location was fabulous.... Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach.... 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal and 15mins walk to the city centre passed the beautiful marina. Umberto was a true gentleman, contact with him was outstanding, he sent me his number to WhatsApp, he was generous enough to pick me up from the ferry terminal when I arrived. Showed me around the area. Gave me key tips where to go what to eat etc. Arranged my taxi for a early flight and got me a discount. The property itself was far better than the photos. It's basically a very nice 3 bedroom apartment. However it spilt into 3 rooms. Double with private bathroom, and 2 twin rooms with a shared bathroom. The apartment is secure and on the 2nd floor. A outside locked gate, locked front door then a apartment door, plus a additional lock on your own private room. The apartment has a shared kitchen, you get your own cupboard with a key to get your rooms own dishes, pots and pans to use on the stove top and oven.large living area. Really great balcony with a view of th beach and mountains to watch the sunset. I stayed for 6 nights and if I was to return to mindelo I'd 100% return and stay again. The price was also unbelievable.
