I recently had the pleasure of staying at Joy Beach Lodge located along Beach Road in Takoradi, and I must say it was an enjoyable experience. The lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort and serenity, with a beautiful sea view that truly enhances the stay. The air-conditioned room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite from the warm coastal climate. The breeze from the sea combined with the cool air conditioning made for a relaxing atmosphere. The lodge’s location right by the beach is definitely one of its highlights, offering easy access to the sand and surf whenever you want to take a walk or just enjoy the views. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Whether it was for information on local attractions or assisting with any needs, they were always ready to help. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi could have been a bit stronger in some areas, but overall, my experience was positive. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic view of the ocean, Joy Beach Lodge is a solid choice. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Takoradi!

The staff was always friendly and forthcoming to meet your needs. The location sitting high above the the ocean with a clear view of the ocean and the fishing harbor below. The owner is doing a lot to improve the place with a pool, beach bar etc.

This is a true hidden gem! ❤️ The environment is so beautiful and serene, unlike anything I've seen in Ghana. The beach is very clean and quiet. The resort itself is very clean, and the staff is super welcoming. Food and beverages are good but definitely more on the pricier side, which is understandable, but something you should be aware of. This is the place to book for a perfect getaway!

Green Zion garden is an incredible place to stay - the rooms are comfortable and colourful, with a path directly to the beach which is clean and beautiful to swim in. The host Ellis could not have been more amazing - he’s a fantastic cook, great conversation and works tirelessly to keep the beach clean and look after his guests

The room was spotless and inviting, and Akua's assistance made our stay even more enjoyable. The lodge owner was equally warm and welcoming, adding to the charm of our visit. This serene property truly stands out as one of the best accommodations in Busua at the moment. While the short route to the lodge may seem a bit unusual initially, it quickly becomes familiar, and living among the locals adds a unique and authentic touch to the experience. The property is just a few minutes' walk from the beach, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. They thoughtfully provided a kettle for breakfast, and laundry services are available for a fee. The room itself was very well-equipped, featuring a reliable air conditioner, a fan, a TV and a water heater in the bathroom. The water pressure was excellent, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing stay. The furniture was great, and the bed in particular, though firm, was exceptionally comfortable, offering excellent support for a truly restful night's sleep. Checking out was a seamless experience, thanks to the staff's efficiency and professionalism. They were incredibly patient with us as we organized our belongings, ensuring we didn’t feel rushed. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate us made the process stress-free and enjoyable, leaving a lasting positive impression. This lodge is the perfect choice when visiting Busua, offering great value! It is definitely worth every cedi! A truly restful and memorable stay!

I had an awesome stay. Could check the waves from my window. Nice to hang out and go surfing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will come back.
